The Application & Platform Architect defines and governs the architecture, scalability, performance, and integration strategy of the company’s SaaS Technology Products supporting B2B sales transformation.
This includes oversight of:
                        •Core OutSystems platform architecture
                        •API-based AI capabilities and extensions
                        •Salesforce AppExchange product architecture
                        •Enterprise integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, and other systems

This role ensures technical alignment with business strategy, drives solution quality, and provides architectural leadership across Product, Engineering, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design
  • Define and maintain the application and integration architecture blueprint.
  • Provide scalable solution designs for major features and integrations.
  • Establish and enforce non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, availability, observability).
  • Guide API-first integration patterns across platform and external systems.
  • Maintain architecture documentation and conduct design reviews.
Salesforce App Architecture
  • Architect and govern the Salesforce AppExchange product.
  • Design secure multi-org integration patterns and versioning strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security and managed package standards.
  • Align Salesforce roadmap with company technology evolution.
AI Platform Architecture
  • Architect AI-powered features and API-based extensions.
  • Design scalable LLM integration and retrieval patterns.
  • Establish secure and compliant data handling for AI services.
  • Monitor performance and cost considerations for AI services.
Platform Stability & Governance
  • Own architectural health, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Partner with DevOps and IT on infrastructure, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Lead root cause analysis for complex and cross-system issues.
  • Contribute to technology roadmap and vendor selection decisions.
Technical Leadership
  • Serve as architectural authority and mentor to engineering teams.
  • Advise Product on technical feasibility and sequencing.
  • Promote reusable patterns and reduction of technical debt.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 7+ years in software engineering/architecture.
  • 3+ years hands-on OutSystems experience.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
  • Strong API, integration, and identity management expertise.
  • Experience with Salesforce-integrated applications.
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM services within SaaS platforms.
  • Understanding of AI governance, security, and cost controls.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and platform constraints.
  • Systems thinker with strong technical judgment.
  • Able to communicate architecture trade-offs clearly.
  • Balances hands-on depth with strategic foresight.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic in agile environments.
